Mentor UMC Next Gen Youth (Grades 7-12)
Our Mission in Youth Ministry
To Lead All on to a Path of Christ Centered Discipleship Students’ teenage years are an important point in their faith development. It is the time that they, alongside their parents, come to decide what they believe, why they believe it, and how they can live into those beliefs. At Mentor UMC it is our mission to help students figure out what those beliefs are in a fun, comfortable environment where they can learn alongside their peers. Our hope is that they will form lasting friendships, become leaders in the church, and be able to take their faith beyond the walls of the church building. Developing our faith is something that takes time, support from other believers and adults in our congregation, and a space where students can ask the BIG questions. We want to make a space where they are Learning and Living the Love of Christ every day! Students are welcome any time to come and see what we are doing.
